A Bit About Me
Hi there, I'm Alexa.
I'm proud to currently be using my skillset by working together with two Saas solution providers, one in the perioperative space and one in the emergency services space. I’m passionate about bringing my expertise to mission-driven organizations that have a real impact. I have availability to take on 2-3 more clients depending on workload so I would love to work with you too!
I use my strengths to create realized marketing and growth strategies, define and engage customer bases, and build brand-loyal communities for the companies and clients I have worked for. Personally – I'm a big foodie, social butterfly, novice knitter, avid vintage shopper, and travel lover. I'm a dual United States and Swedish (EU) citizen who grew up in Dallas and London before moving to Sweden for university studies in 2014. I've been based in sunny Austin, Texas since 2022.

I'm happy to have been working with one of my clients since January of 2023. I led the redesign and updating of their website full-time until April of 2023, and have continued to work with them for various tasks and projects since then as their needs have fluctuated.
From May 2023 to March 2025, I worked within the sonography industry at BB Imaging and TeleScan. I set up their first marketing to sales funnel with conversion tracking while migrating over to Hubspot from Mailchimp and building out their CRM and automations (such as lead scoring). Their total social following grew by 132% and the website audience grew by 88% during my tenure. We also increased webinar engagement by 295% to over 400 participants/webinar and maintained an average newsletter open rate of 52% with over 8k monthly subscribers. Through all of that, we increased inbound marketing and sales qualified leads and I’d love to do the same for you.
I spent the latter half of 2022 at Next Coast Ventures, a leading venture capital firm in Austin, working with managing their marketing for both their venture and entrepreneurship through acquisition arms. Before that, I spent two years as the Head of Marketing for Pilloxa, an exciting healthtech company based in Stockholm, creating digital patient support solutions for pharmaceutical companies and research institutes before they were acquired by iZafe Group. Prior to that, I led marketing and growth at imagiLabs working to get more young girls into tech as we raised our first round of funding and launched a successful Kickstarter campaign. I started my career working with marketing, communications, and events for J12 Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Stockholm.
During my studies, I helped to build up Unipreneurs Network to inspire more students and recent graduates to pursue the path of entrepreneurship, including managing Sweden's largest student ideation competition at the time, Create Squared. I also interned at SUP46 (Swedish Startup Community Hub) as a researcher and support writer for the Swedish Startup Manifesto 2.0 focusing on Scaleups in Sweden and advocating for the government to create more startup-friendly policies.
I'm a graduate from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology as well as Stockholm University. I wrote my political science thesis on Digitalization Politics in Sweden, my business administration thesis on how ICT companies are using advanced technologies to reach the UNSDGs, and my masters level thesis on the landscape of digitalization and venture capital in Europe.
